Flashback…I’m a kid, lunch time on a weekday was always just before noon. My mom was Johnny on the spot! Hmm, the weekends aren’t like this. I remember going down for a nap at exactly 12:00, I heard the music coming from the TV in the living room. An all too familiar tune, I can hear it now…Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days if our lives.

It was like a ritual. As I grew up, I even started following the saga and drama. How crazy is Sami?! The whole Brady family, who didn’t love Bo and Hope? Marlena is…gasp..POSSESSED! Darned Stefano.

Even through college, some of us were fortunate enough to have a break from classes during the lunch hour. We would race back to the house to be in time for Days. Okay, yes, this is all pre-DVR. What would we do without it now???😮..lol.
But, that’s the kicker. The DVR has given us the excuse to wait to take that break when we “have the time.” Right..what time?! We used to commit that 12:00 time to watch the saga unfold. If you missed it you were SOL and had to get the scoop from your Days posse.

Back in the day, my mom made sure she had her time to take a soap WOMENT, I used to in college. What happened? It has made me think more..screw the DVR and commit to that special hour to take a WOMENT. You don’t want to miss out on all the juicy details.
